Operational since 1979, EXCEL Anesthesia is an all-physician group that specializes in perioperative care services. It offers transesophageal echocardiography, critical care and internal medicine services. The group provides anesthesia care for a range of surgical specialties, such as cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, bariatric, plastic, reconstructive and spinal surgeries. EXCEL Anesthesia also offers otolaryngologic, electrophysiology, invasive monitoring, lung isolation and advanced airway management services. It is affiliated with the Trophy Club Medical Center, Dallas Fort Worth Institute of Body Sculpting, Texas Institute for Surgery and Baylor Medical Center at Irving.
