General Info
Emeric DeGaul, Estate Broker, offers the service of on premise estate, inventory, household liquidation sales of personal property. Traditionally, on premise sales realize a greater percentage of return than other forms of liquidation when conducted by a professional estate broker. Expert appraisals are provided on fine furniture, vintage textiles, collectibles, estate jewelry, art, and silver for property settlement, probate insurance. Emeric DeGaul has over twenty-five years of experience in the retail wholesale antique sales field. The standard brokerage fee on personal property is 30% of total sale receipts; however, this rate can vary slightly according to the nature of the merchandise. The broker is contracted to provide and bear the cost of: all supplies, preparation of space and merchandise, pricing of all items, personnel required to conduct the sale in an efficient manner, final reductions, advertising prior to and during the sale, any specialized appraisals, collection of all monies, and furnish the seller with a copy of all sales book receipts. Payment to seller is made in the form of a cashiers check within ten days from close of sale. For the last 25 years Emeric DeGaul has personally managed the liquidation of personal property items for more than 1000 private estates and charitable trusts in the greater Dallas area.

Fantastic performance!
And despite such adversity. All Emeric asked of us was to remove ourselves and all that we wanted to keep from the estate sale house by an agreed upon date of our choosing... and we wouldn't quite do it. Shame on us! Never the less, Emeric restored a sense of dignity to our loved one's home that had been lost over time to neglect. Wonderful staging! Although Emeric made it clear that he was not promising monetary miracles from the sale proceeds, we were ecstatic over the results. Most importantly, Emeric did everything contractually promised:
1. Started on time, finished on time
2. Paid for and provided all advertising
3. Paid for and supplied all labor and supplies
4. Accurately accounted for all sale items
5. Priced all sale items and bargained on our behalf
6. Paid us in full in a timely manner.
The estate sale house was completely empty and broom clean at the end (an optional nominal haul-off service fee applied)
