Blue Line Advisors
General Info
David R. Pasahow David Pasahow formed Blue Line Advisors in January 2004 to provide executive search and leadership services to the aerospace, transportation and other selected sectors. During the preceding years, Mr. Pasahow had built the general/business aviation practice at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm. Seeking to focus his efforts on a more select list of clients and to be able to provide a deeper and more personal level of service, Blue Line Advisors was formed. Mr. Pasahow was a Senior Partner in the firm of Heidrick & Struggles, the world's largest executive search firm, for 17 years. Joining the firm in 1987, he most recently served as Office Managing Partner of the Dallas office from 1998 to 2002. He managed the firm's Canadian operations in Toronto from 1996 to 1998, and prior to that, he was a Partner in the Chicago office. His primary focus was senior management positions within general management, operations, sales and marketing. This work was primarily conducted for aviation/aerospace, transportation and industrial entities. Earlier, Mr. Pasahow was a principal at Nordeman Grimm, a medium-sized search firm headquartered in New York City. His client base included manufacturing and service businesses throughout the Midwest, and a significant part of his practice included senior assignments in sales, marketing, manufacturing and finance. Between 1979 and 1981, Mr. Pasahow served as a senior consultant in the executive search practice of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., located in their Chicago office. Earlier, he was involved in establishing a graduate business school program in Chicago from 1977 to 1979. He began his career with Western Union Telegraph Company in field sales, sales management and product management assignments. Mr. Pasahow holds an A.B. degree in Psychology from Kenyon College and an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is an active pilot and aircraft owner, and serves on the Board of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Frontiers of Flight Museum and Conax Buffalo Technologies.
