Don Buford, MD founded Texas Orthobiologics so patients can benefit from evidence based orthobiologic and orthopedic surgery care. Orthobiologic nonsurgical treatments can be effective for conditions like arthritis, back pain, and sports injuries. In some cases, we use PRP and bone marrow derived stem cell injections to assist, accelerate or augment the healing response in conjunction with a surgical procedure. Dr. Buford has been in practice in Dallas for over 20 years and has been voted multiple times by Dallas area physicians as one of the best orthopedic surgeons. Since 2008, Dr. Buford has been training orthopedic surgeons and other clinicians on MSK ultrasound and orthobiologics as the Director of the MSK Ultrasound and Orthobiologics Course. Dr. Buford is the 2021 President of the International Orthobiologics Foundation.
