AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Dr. Farrokh Sharafpour and his billing team have zero disregard from your insurance perspective. The team does not care if you were at fault for the accident, or the other party was at fault. In our case, the other person was at fault, but they decided to claim it on our insurance, utilizing our PIP, which created a new accident on our insurance. When I confronted him about it, he dismissed it as a billing issue, and he did not sound concerned at all. For someone who's in this line of business, his team should navigate billing carefully and not create new claims on your insurance if you are not at fault. There should be more concern for the patient and how things are billed. If you are concerned over your health and correct insurance billing, PLEASE DO NOT SEE DR. FARROKH SHARAFPOUR. I'm posting this so Dr. Farrokh can't give another patient a naive response, like he gave me. If a layman like me understands these basics of accident injury billing, SURELY a doctor of many years would be able to grasp this highly uncomplicated billing process. Don't be fooled, you've been warned, his team would rather claim the fees on your insurance versus waiting for the responsible party to pay when the case is closed. Don't let this experience happen to you and your insurance!!!
