The Electronic Packaging Division of the northern Texas section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers selected Marlow Industries as the recipient of their Industry of the Year award in 2003. Marlow Industries is a thermoelectric company that provides markets around the world with thermal solutions. For more than 30 years, Marlow Industries has developed and manufactured thermoelectric coolers and subsystems for the aerospace, defense, medical, commercial, industrial, high-speed integrated circuits and telecommunications markets. Typical applications include temperature stabilization and cooling for infrared sensors, fiber-optic guidance systems, charged coupled devices, laser diodes, pump lasers, DNA amplification, refrigerators and freezers and high-performance liquid chromatography. The company is headquartered in Dallas and is a subsidiary of II-VI. Raymond Marlow founded the company in 1973.
