Absinthe, located in the basement of the SouthSide on Lamar Lofts building, is a perfectly fine and decent establishment - great liquors and cigars available, though prices tend to end-up on the high side. If you happen to find yourself at an art show in the SouthSide Gallery space, I'd definitely recommend you drop by for a drink or two - but no more if you're on a budget.
