Well, it's not the fanciest joint around and the staff can be sluggish at times too. But I think the food is awesome and even more importantly... its cheap! Plus, I swear this restaurant has the best salsa I've ate anywhere.I saw where another reviewer saw a roach in her food. To her I'd argue that Tequila Mexican restaurant is just trying to provide her with the most authentic Mexican dining experience possible. The restaurant already resembles a third world country! Why not go all the way!

We live in Dallas and have been here for a long time. We love mexican resturants, and we used to eat at Tequila alot. But lately the service has went bad down hill, it is awful and the food wasn't as good and so we stoped eating there. But a friend of mine continued eating there and last week her and her family went and ate there and she found a roach bug in her plate of refried beans. She called and told me and I thought no way, she is mistaken, so she wrapped it in a napkin and showed it to me and yes it was a whole roach in her plate. Nasty, I will NEVER eat there again.
