The place is in an old building and from outward appearances you wouldn't want to enter. Ive been in scarier places however and that is usually when I find the best stuff. Inside was, as expected crowded and overpacked with mainly junk. It looked like they stocked the store in 1989 and nothing ever sold. Which is why I found a board game from my childhood and thought "Jackpot". The price was $6.99 a small price to pay for a bit of nostalgia. I had also found a little decorative thing that I thought would be cute in my sons room. Only problem was there was no price was on it. I ask the clerk how much and I guide her through the labyrinth to the item and she picked up a completely unrelated item with a price and tells me they are the same price. How would I know? It was way too much for my blood anyway so I returned to the register to pay for the board game. The clerk rings up the game and I go to hand her my card and she points to this itty bitty sign that says "10 dollar minimum purchase". First I was like,"What?!" And then I informed them that that was crazy and in violation of their merchant agreement. Of course they didn't care. I informed them also that I would not return. When i first arrived at the store there was a woman trying to purchase something and I had thought she just didnt have enough money but now I believe she was trying to pay with a card. How many people do they turn away simply because they are stubborn on this $10 minimum purchase thing? Anyway,I reported them to MC and now I am writing a review to warn others.
