Nearly 40 years after it was established as a one-product chemical specialty company, Venus Laboratories has grown to become a leader in the private-label chemical specialty industry. The company manufactures a variety of chemical products for restroom care, odor control, floor and carpet care, automotive care, patch and repair kits, fuel oil additives and waterless cleaning. These products, which have garnered more than 10 patents, are used in the janitorial, marine, government, retail, hospital and natural health industries. In addition to the headquarters in Wood Dale, Ill., Venus Laboratories has four ISO 9001 certified manufacturing plants strategically located throughout the United States. Venus employs more than 130 full-time employees, including seven chemists, and its products are shipped to Canada, Europe, Central America, South America and Asia.
