General Info

The Traveling Nurse Practitioner visits home bound clients in their home and then discusses treatments with the Primary Care Provider. The patient does not have to switch doctors. Care is complete and includes a thorough assessment. Medication evaluation at every visit and then a list is sent to the Primary Care Provider. TNP only has a small number of competitors-they are Visiting Physicians and other individual doctors. The patient is required to switch doctors, which is difficult for elderly that have known their doctor for years and do not want to switch. TNP will work with the doctor of the patient's choice.
