Main Street Gourmet produces baked goods and ingredients for food service providers and retail food distributors. Its product offerings include muffin batter, pre-portioned cookie dough and thaw and serve muffins, brownies, cinnamon rolls and scones. The company s product development team will also collaborate with clients to create custom bakery formulations. Since 1994, Main Street Gourmet has received a rating of superior or excellent every year from the American Institute of Baking. Founded in 1987 as Main Street Muffins, the company is located in Akron, Ohio. In 1996, Feature Foods acquired the company and the following year its name was changed from Main Street Muffins to Main Street Gourmet in order to reflect its broader offering of baked goods.
