Fantastic people. I was given their number by 3 other shops in the area. That is a pretty awesome referral. Competitors referring to them. Seems they are the experts in the generator world. Super friendly guys and the owner and his son are still there after 40 years. Highly recommend.

Actually came here to do a review search, I decided to have them fix my generator after being referred to them by a neighbor that has used them for many years. To be honest I was a little nervous about them because of the 2011 reviews. But I was extremely happy with them . I spoke to someone , very nice and knowledgable. They did indeed come out and fix my generator. I was very pleased with the amount they quoted and charged me , as well as being able to come out the same week I had called them. I would highly recommend them and hope you have the same plessant experience I had. In going back and reading the older reviews again. I did notice that they seem to be same dates and were annonymous. Appears to me if I had that experience I would not try to hide under anonymous signatures.

I am usually not a review type person, however I was very happy with how fast they came out and looked at our generator. The technician was John and very knowledgable and helpful. He walked me through the entire operation of my machine. Thank you all so much. Highly recommended. This company has been in business for over 30 years, and apparently in the same location. Must be doing something right .

They always got the off-beat parts, and often within 2 days, or gave me a good lead where to find them. No problem with repairs on small gas engines. No problem with refund on a part that was not to the specs of the catalog number. The business is geared to the trade, so best for homeowner if somewhat knowledgeable about power equipment.

I wish I knew how these people operated before taking my generator there. I will not be going back. Charged me a lot for nothing. Very unhappy.

Similar experience for me...spent over $300 and the thing is still not fixed. I asked if they would fix it correctly but only if I paid more( the money already paid was suppose to include all the repairs needed). I will go somewhere else and never go there again. Do your homework and save $$, time and aggravation. Don't do business there.

Bad experience, repairs requested not completed. When I asked what happened I got an "Oh! You wanted that fixed?". Really??? I dropped of generator and was told it would be ready in 5 days, 13 days later they call me to pick up. Upon pick up the electric starter was inoperable. I was charged for parts that I had replaced the day before dropping off for repairs. In summary I found them to be expensive, dishonest, rude. On the other hand they were great at bad customer service. Had to take the generator somewhere else to complete repairs. Not happy, don't do business here.

We took in a generator that we purchased from another shop for repair. The original shop wanted to charge 450.00, and Chadwell charge me $38.00 , Only thing wrong was a blown control fuse. Super honest and we appreciate their taking care of us.
