We did both group and private sessions with both Asha and Dawn. The progress Lili has made is incredible. She is a fearful dog, but so many of our issues have been addressed. She no longer pulls me over when a squirrel appears and she is learning to sit when people come into the house. Reaction to other dogs still needs work but I was unable to be consistent due to my elderly mother's needs. I can't wait to resume the training when spring comes. If it had not been for Dawn and Asha, I think I would have had to return Lili to the shelter. We love her dearly but at our ages, we needed help and it was given lovingly and consistently. Thank you so much.

Our 10 month old Bouiver had decided that he had enough with listening to Mom & Dad. After about a week of thinking he was just having "a moment" we decided to seek the wisdom of Asha at the North Fork Dog School for Dogs. This was the best decision we have ever made! After only a few private lessons we were all able to get back on the same team and have a happier puppy! The training methods she uses are positive and effective. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to build a better understanding on how to live relevantly in their dogs lives! Thanks so much!!!!
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! I have had dogs for many years. My daughters dog, a 1 year old Samoyed, was incredibly stubborn...had a mind of his own and was difficult to train. Ashra came, evaluated the dog and it's environment and arranged the necessary lessons to get him where I needed him to be with training and knowing the commands and discipline I expect. I was hesitant at first, thinking that I would need a lot more lessons than she established but was amazed at how he, with her techniques of training, was able to do everything and more than I expected. After the last lesson I was even able to have him bow on command! That I never expected. The other big one is control when he escapes out the front door and rather explore than listen to come in...leaving me chase after him. For Ashra, there was no task too difficult that she couldn't over come in her ability to train and teach. I highly recommend using North Fork School for Dogs and save yourself the frustration - especially when you ha
