Mashburn Elementary School, located in Cumming, Ga., is affiliated with the Forsyth County Schools. It provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers various programs, including reading, writing, spelling, English, mathematics and science. Mashburn Elementary School also provides social studies, foreign language, health and physical education, art and music. The school additionally offers extended day, accelerated reader, early intervention, foreign languages, gifted education and mentoring programs. It offers various organizations, such as student council, newcomers, creative challenge art and chess clubs, and chorus. Mashburn Elementary School implements the No Child Left Behind Act.
