The division employs a staff of nearly 25,600 people in approximately 40 countries throughout the world. It sells up to 248 million tons of aggregates annually. The division produces hard rock, such as limestone and granites. The Aggregates & Concrete Division operates various research and development programs. The division also offers a variety of concrete and masonry mixes. It provides products under the Agilia and Artevia Color brands. The Aggregates & Concrete Division, a part of Lafarge, serves steel manufacturers and road contractors, as well as construction companies.
