Cumberland Salvage was started in the 1965 by Jerald Copp Sr. In the beginning, Cumberland Salvage was a very small privately held business with very few vehicles; but it was that start of what is now one of the biggest used car parts dealer in the state of Maine. Currently the Business is run by Jerald Copp Jr. and sons. The current location is 15 acres, holding just over 1,200 vehicles of all makes and models. Cumberland Salvage specializes in the sales of quality, guaranteed used auto parts. The yard has most every kind of make and model available to its customers, with the exception of exotic cars and trucks. The spectrum of vehicles goes from the Geo Metro up to Mercedes- Benz and Range Rovers. The company also has access to after-market and refurbished car parts as well as parts from other junkyards nation wide. The Business philosophy is one that has been passed down through the generations. It started with Jerald Copp Sr. Throughout his business his number one concern was for the customer. He always tried to be fair and honest. Jerald Jr., along with the rest of the family and company took that aspect and continued to use old fashioned hard work to succeed in their businesses.
