Operational since 1960, Dur-Red Products has been designing and manufacturing doors, hatches, skylights and vents. Based in Cudahy, Calif., the company performs all operations ranging from initial metal shearing, punching, forming and welding to final assembly of doors. Some of the products offered by it include floor doors, ladder hatches, safety post, sidewalk doors, smoke hatches and ventilators. Underwriters Laboratories Inc. has tested and approved the company's smoke hatches. In addition, Dur-Red Products provides various types of skylights, such as pyramid, curb mounted and self-flashing dome.
