TC Industries, Inc. is engaged in the commercial heat-treating of carbon and alloy steel bars. It serves the steel industry with highly trained employees who have the skills and tools necessary to provide its customers with the delivery and conformance to their precise specification. Its Mill Product Division has the capability to quench and temper steel bars in water, oil or polymer. It is capable of normalizing bars at 1700 degrees F., can handle rounds from 3/8' to 12' in diameter and can handle flats, squares, hexes, and octagons up to 350 pounds per lineal foot. The company is equipped with an annealing furnace that has a hot zone of eighty feet in length. The company also provides stress relieving, shot blasting and demagnetizing to its customers. The division has more than five horizontal hydraulic presses for straightening heavier flats and squares. TC Industries, Inc. is headquartered in Crystal Lake, Ill.
