  This practice is wonderful! I went in for a tooth extraction as a result of a broken crown leaving the tooth unrepairable. Every staff member was extremely friendly, comforting, and genuinely caring. I joked that I felt I was in a spa with the amount of attention I was receiving. Dr. Menis was honest, careful, and engaging. He has a great bedside manner that leaves you feeling like you're best buddies. The extraction was quick and painless. I didn't even feel discomfort as I anticipated. A wonderful experience through and through.

• Maxillofacial Surgery
  Dr. Lehman attended college at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. Here, he developed a working relationship with his friend and future business partner, Dr. Michael Menis. For his residency, Dr. Lehman completed his first year of training at Washington University at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, which is considered one of the top regional medical centers in the country. He relocated and completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program in New York City. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on surgical training in a hospital-based setting. Dr. Lehman and Dr. Menis began a partnership in Crystal Lake in 1995 and continue to deliver exceptional oral surgery care and service.
• Tooth Extractions
  Both general dentists and oral surgeons can remove wisdom teeth. However, a general dentist's scope of treatment is much more limited than that of a surgeon. Dentists can often perform simple extractions, such as when a wisdom tooth has erupted through the gums and can be removed only using forceps and local anesthetic. When a patient requires anesthesia, complex surgery, or has an impacted wisdom tooth, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is the one to perform treatment.
• Bone Grafting
  Complete arch restoration is available for those requiring extensive reconstructive work, ensuring a functional and visually appealing outcome. Bone grafting procedures are performed to prepare patients for implants, enhancing the jawbone's density and stability. For canines that do not emerge as expected, impacted canine surgery corrects their position, facilitating proper dental alignment.
