Special Education serves students with physical, mental and learning disabilities. It offers educational programs for students who suffer from visual impairment, autism, traumatic brain injuries, emotional disturbances and mental retardation. The program also provides counseling and transportation services, as well as physical and occupational therapies. Special Education is a part of the Crowley Independent School District, which operates more than 15 elementary, middle and high schools. The Crowley Independent School District serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its schools provide a variety of sports programs that includes basketball, tennis, soccer, cross-country and volleyball. Special Education is based in Crowley, Texas.
