This was our first time doing business with this particular slaughterhouse. We purchased 1/4 of a 1208 lb. angus (dressed out at 705) that was processed there. When we picked it up, we came home with less than 86 pounds! After asking if we still had meat that had mistakenly been left there we were told that we had everything. We told them our numbers and while they admitted that didn't sound right, they still aren't offering to reimburse us for our "lost" meat. My parents purchased the same amount we did with the same results. The "solution" they offered was for us to drive 1 1/2 hrs. back up there with the meat we did get and they would pay us for it. How will that help? We'd then be out ALL our meat and 1/2 our money! Meanwhile, guess we just paid to put meat in someone elses freezer... hope they dont' choke!

The place is really clean and the people very helpful. Will use again. Our beef is very good and well packaged.
