General Info

At 10,000 feet above sea level, the Cripple Creek KOA is the highest KOA in the world. Perched on the side of a hill in an alpine meadow, we offer panoramic views of the high mountain countryside around us, glorious sunsets, and quiet, restful nights with fabulous star gazing. We feature all pullthru RV sites, deluxe and primitive camping cabins, wilderness tent sites in the trees, or electric/water deluxe tent sites closer to our central amenities. Located within an hour of many Pike's Peak and Royal Gorge area attractions, and only a few miles from the historic towns of Cripple Creek and Victor which boast gold mining history, museums, tours, and gambling, there is a lot to do nearby. Numerous outdoor adventures are also within a few miles including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, horseback riding, geocaching, and abundant wildlife. At 10,000 feet above sea level, the Cripple Creek KOA is the highest KOA in the world.
