My wife and I are from San Diego (and now live in Lincoln) and we have found that GREAT Mexican food seems very hard to come by in Nebraska. Sure, there are ok/good restaraunts in Lincoln but they are nothing compared to the AUTHENTIC flavors of the Mexican food at Glady's. As you enter, you'll notice that the place appears similar to a taco shop in Tijuana or San Diego. It's not fancy but as soon as the chips and salsa arrive at your table, and you take your first taste, you'll know it's the real deal. The menu is fairly extensive including authentic carne asada tacos (small TJ style, double tortillas) and burritos, al pastor, adobado, sopes, chile rellenos, enchiladas, fajitas, sope de res, and excellent pupusas. We make a weekly trip to Glady's since it's only 25 minutes from South Lincoln and WELL worth the nice drive. If you crave authentic Mexican food and can't find it anywhere else without getting on a plane, heaven is waiting for you at Glady's. We'll see you there!
