Founded in 1978 by Paul DeBruce, DeBruce Grain consists of high-speed grain-handling facilities, fertilizer distribution terminals and retail fertilizer operations located in five states. Since its founding, DeBruce Grain has continued to modernize its facilities to improve efficiency, specifically to increase the speed and capacity of receiving, handling and load-out functions. In addition to domestic locations, DeBruce Grain de M xico has a trading office located in the city of Queretaro, northwest of Mexico City, to serve the company s international customers. The company is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo. It maintains a branch location in Creston, Iowa. In 2006, DeBruce Grain was listed by Forbes as the 130th-largest private company.
