General Info
We offer one of the lowest cost transient accommodations in the area and many people stay with us so they can see the redwoods, attend a family event, or throw a party. Our pricing schedule is as follows: a) Private room -- $33/night b) Double occupancy for a private room -- $40/night c) Whole house booking is $80/night and subject to seasonal pricing and availability. A whole house booking can accommodate up to 8 people, and there is an extra charge of up to $25 to bring an extra bed out for groups of 9 or more. d) Additional booking fees may apply depending on which booking agency you contact. Except for credit card fees, we do not charge additional fees if booked through us directly at . Special discounts are available for small children ages six and under for either private rooms or whole house bookings when the total number in the group exceeds 6. We accept all major credit cards. A 3.1% card fee applies when cards are used. Inside you will find an older fully furnished house, but it is clean and well kept. We offer both private and dorm style rooms, but most people staying the dorm room are in there alone. Heating is controlled individually in each room by an oil filled electric radiator, except for the living room which has both a wall heater as well as an oil filled electric radiator. The kitchen only has a wall heater. All rooms come with fresh linens, towels and we have a housekeeper who cleans the place after each departure. A description below will give you a better idea of the differences and comfort levels of each room: Rm 1: a) Comfortable queen size bed with cotton ticking. b) 9-Drawer dresser. c) Night stand with touch activated night lamp. d) Electric or battery operated alarm clock. e) Cotton blanket, cotton bed spread, polyesther blanket in closet, two pillows, and extra pillows in closet. f) Hangers. g) Oil filled electric radiator. h) Just one heater in the room. i) Room darkening Curtain on east window, and plastic venetian blinds on both windows. j) Wood Laminate floor with two large area rugs. k) Folding sitting chair, l) Hangers, m) Bath robe. n) Two wall pictures. Rm 2: a) Firm full size bed with cotton ticking (not too much padding). b) Book case with open shelving for storage. c) Night stand, d) Standing floor lamp, e) Sitting chair, f) Cotton blanket, cotton bed spread, polyesther blanket, two pillows, and extra pillows in the closet. g) Oil filled electric radiator. h) Metal venetian blinds i) Two framed pictures. j) Blue cardpet with hardwood baseboard molding Rm 3: a) Queen size bed with pillow top. b) Large floor to ceiling book case with VCR. c) Small dresser. d) Standing Floor lamp. e) Hamper. f) Bathrobe. g) Hangers h) Oil filled electric radiator. i) Only one small framed picture of a cat displayed in time magazine (two pictures were stolen from the walls) j) off white carpet that is covered with area carpets. k) Cotton bed spread, extra pillows, cotton blanket (Extra Polyesther blend Comforter) l) Three framed pieces of wall art. Dorm room (Living Room): a) Two 3 panel Shoji screens for privacy. b) Queen size sofa bed that is comfortable. c) Polyesther comforter, cotton/polyesther blend blanket. d) Rocking Chair, e) Recliner, f) Reading Lamp, and two overhead chandeliers with one ceiling fan. g) Twin size adjustable memory foam day bed that is comfortable. h) Two intables and table lamp. i) Wood venetian blinds. j) Brand new carpet with hardwood baseboard molding. k) Two large floor to ceiling book cases, l) Children's toys, board games, and reading materials. m) Wall heater and oil filled electric radiator. n) Directional night light which may be unplugged for comfort. o) Two pieces of framed wall art.
