General Info

Established in 1977 William C. Culmer as a day job while he was worming graveyard shifts as a police officer for the City of San Mateo, CA. He quickly realized that he could do more good for citizens of California by providing monitored security and fire alarms then as a police officer. In 1980 he quit the Police force to pursue Hue & Cry full time. He as since grown to over 55 employees and more than 8000 monitored customers. His two sons and one daughter are also apart of the business.
