Del Norte Workforce Center offers a range of services in the areas of start-up assistance, business critique, employee recruitment, job training and referral, and career coaching and counseling. Located in Crescent City, Calif., it also administers various apprenticeship and youth programs. Del Norte Workforce Center is operated by Rural Human Services, which is an independent, nonprofit agency that provides services and assistance to the community in Del Norte County, Calif. Founded in 1981, Rural Human Services offers community outreach, shelter, independent living and natural resource programs. Its shelter programs include food, emergency clothing, legal referral, life skills assistance, domestic abuse education, and individual and group counseling services. The agency also administers a professional service program that features training, instruction and assistance for organizations and local businesses.
