Love this place, wish I had more events to wear gowns to. I am so in love with this store. From the moment I walked in I felt like a princess. I had the most helpful girl who I think is the manager work with me most of the time.I had multiple things to choose from in my size and spent about 2 hours playing princess until I decided on my dream dress. I am so happy and my husband thought I was smoking hot so he was happy too. Ladies, this is the best place I have ever shopped I just wish I had more than 1 event per year I could dress up for. Far and above the best dress shopping experience in RI. Since my daughter started high school (now a junior) we have bought all of her dresses at RGD and she always looks stunning at whatever event she attends. Equally is amazing is the level of customer service, when leaving the store always with a dress she loves, she truly feels like a princess. Ray and Mary do their very best to make their customers happy and I can assure you they achieve their goal each and every time. I can't imagine my daughter and I shopping anywhere else for special occasion dresses. For as long as RGD is in business, we will be shopping there. ~ Arleen Carpenter

Ray & Mary were very helpful when I didn't know what type of dress I should select-- color, style, etc. They went over & above giving me personal service & staying within my budget. They happily assisted me with shoes and accessories. I will definitely be a return customer & send my friends & family to the store.

Horrendous experience! He is trying to sell prom dresses to young girls that are not appropriate for them not do they even fit them properly. Tried to sell my daughter a dress that was damaged! Stay away.

We went to ray's store in cranston and were really impressed by the quality of his dresses and his attention to his customers, when we needed a last minute alteration before my daughter's wedding he not only got it done for us right away he actually dropped off the dress at my house because my husband had the car! what other store does that, amazing.

I found the service to be exceptional - personal and honest. Ray has beautiful dresses, but you do need to try them on (who wouldn't?) because there are no returns. These are designer gowns and the prices are great. Two percs outweight the no-return policy. Is that really a big deal? Alterations are available. I had a great experience!

what a thief. He talks you into buying something. if you have a problem you are up the creek.be very careful. he wont let you return anything.

Just want to say thank you to RAY for having recommended the dresses that my daughter and I wore at her wedding in JULY 2009. Both of us were highly complimented throughout the day and even now by showing pictures.The alterations that were needed at the time of purchase were done very quickly(I had only two days in the area being from CANADA. and also very professionnally done.
