The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America is part of a worldwide scouting movement with over 15 million members in one hundred countries. Located in East Providence, R.I., it is one of the largest youth development organizations in the nation. It provides camping and development programs besides offering camp scholarships, organizing weekend camps and, conducting boy scout camps and cub scouting programs. Moreover, The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America publishes handbooks for all phases of the scouting program for use by youth members, adult leaders and parents.
