I had worked for these people 2 months. They never asked for my bci. The cleaners have to pay for their own insurance and only recieve 1/3 of what the customer pays.no wonder the girls come and go in that company.

I have been using this company for over ten years. I never had a problem . they clean three of my family members homes. we have the same cleaners and we trust them completely. biggest problem is they finish before the time is complete; so we have problems giving them extra tasks because they do everything every visit.

I am a social worker who has Just the Basics come into several of my clients homes. They do a great job . they help with the laundry and the cleaning is done to perfection for the clients on a monthly basis. I would refer them to everyone as I have been doing. I also like the idea that I can pay by credit card for the payments.

i seen the tv ad, they did the five room special. it was great! nyomy did all she could do for me. i would recommend the service to my friends. what a great job to A+ nyomy! she was alittle late for being lost but it was worth the wait of the extra 15 min. sandra

I have the same cleaner come in not someone different every two weeks. she was more than willing to go the extra mile , one day i asked for help with my laundry and dishes, no problems ! everything is done just the way I would like it. I had a cleaning from them. i loved maggie's cleaning! I am now a regular bi weekly client. she was fifiteen minutes late from being lost but she was great! she did not talk she went right to work. i asked for an insurance certificate and was given one with the week. I had no problems and would refer them to anyone looking for a cleaning service. I was referred to them by a friend who had them come bi weekly also. she has a different cleaner kristine she loves her! they have had the service for over six months.

Asked for proof of insurance and it was never provided. Called the RI Dept of Labor to check on their workers comp insurance policy and was told that Just the Basics has no workers comp and that was because they hire independent contractors. Was told to be careful because if one of these cleaners gets hurt in my house I'm on the hook and not the company. Found it odd that all the people listed as independent contractors working for this company do not work for anyone else. Looked up the IRS definition of independent contractor and it seems to me that these cleaners are really employees but the company lists them as independents to save on insurance and payroll taxes. Watch your back with this company. There is a reason they are so cheap and none of the reasons are good.
