- OrthopedicsStacy brings twenty years of clinical physical therapy experience to GCRC. In 1995, she graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island where she earned her Associates in Applied Science degree. Her twenty years of clinical experience has had her working in many different rehab settings. Her varied clinical experience consists of acute care, long term care, subacute care, home care and out patient orthopedics. As a strong advocate for her patients, she encourages them during their rehab process to focus on progression and hard work to achieve their goals. She joined GCRC in May 2015.
- Sports MedicineDan graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at New England Institute of Technology in 2010. Dan previously served our country for 10+ years in the active duty, United States Air Force. He was drawn to physical therapy after having sports injuries of his own that required treatment. Dan has had experience in acute care, long term care, home care and orthopedic outpatient settings during his 7-year career as a PTA. Dan is an active father of five, and he joined our team in May of 2017.
- Physical TherapyWe offer comprehensive physical therapy intervention to address patients who possess a variety of orthopaedic and neurologic concerns. Each patient is evaluated by a licensed, registered physical therapist. A treatment plan is created based upon the findings of that evaluation, and the functional demands of their job, and implemented by our professional staff.
- Aquatic TherapyDan completed an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2014 from New England Institute of Technology. Since graduating, he has developed an interest in orthopedic rehab and sports medicine. He has a variety of experience with post-surgical patients, pediatrics, neuromuscular patients, and aquatic therapy. He is passionate about helping people return to their daily lives with the use of manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. He is also certified in Graston Technique TM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), which is a gentle massage technique to decrease patient and return normal muscle function. Dan is dedicated to providing the best possible care to the patients of GCRC and continuing his development as a PTA. Dan is a native Rhode Islander and enjoys spending time with his family and staying active with competitive sports.
- Manual TherapyMegan joined GCRC in November 2015 and brings nearly 12 years of varied clinical experience in areas such as acute critical care, long term care, neonatal ICU, subacute rehab, and outpatient orthopedics. She has completed many continuing education courses in manual therapy while working towards a certification as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist. Megan especially enjoys treating shoulder and ankle injuries.
