Fantastic child care and preschool! We have had two boys there, with the youngest finishing up (and all ready for Kindergarten!) just a couple of months ago. All the teachers are absolutely fantastic -can't say enough good things about all these fine folks.

I have had 2 children in this care center for almost a year. My oldest has been there for over 2 years and is now more then prepared for kindergarten! He loves the school curriculum and all the teachers. Its the perfect mixture of fun and education.

We have had the misfortune of having to ask a parent with a substance abuse issue to leave our Center.... Unfortunately for her child and many children out there, this is a reality in our culture. As a result, a negative review from said parent and perhaps a friend or two are the consequence of this necessary action.

2 kids at CCC for 3 years. Love the teachers. They care about my kids. My 4 yo is already reading sight words and made some of the best friends there.

Excellent Center. The owner is straight forward and makes it a point to take it all personally. The level of care is second to none and the rates demonstrate the managements ability to operate in a financially responsible manner. Longevity in staff is unparalleled to other centers. This is a Center for parents who care about their children. Those with entitlement issues need not apply.

My daughter has been enrolled here since Jan 2012 and I have never been happier. This was our second daycare and I can honestly say I feel good every time I have to drop her off there. She has excelled and she loves all of the teachers and owner there. I have found everyone very easy to work with and I can rest easy sending her there when I have to work. Aside from the 'mothering qualities they all display', my daughter knew her alphabet by 18 months and could count to 15 by 2 years old!. That is only the tip of the iceberg. She says her mealtime prayers all the time and I am truly amazed at her development there. We are expecting our second child soon and I am happy that we feel comfortable sending our second child there as an infant.

I am a past preschool teacher at Cranberry Christian Child Care, and my experience has been very positive. The priority is the care and safety of the children. The caregiver that ran the infant room had been there for years and was a responsible person that treated every baby like it was her own and I would have felt very comfortable leaving my child in her hands. Very high standards of cleanliness and safety were evident in every room in the building, as they were set to or above state guidelines. Sanitizing was done on all tables before and after meals/snacks, children washed hands before meals/after bathroom breaks, floors and fixtures were sanitized daily..I could go on and on because this was truly a top priority. As far as the educational program, anything I needed to enhance lesson plans was provided, from basic construction paper and paints to a greenhouse for earth day. Any field trip that would add to the children's experiences was gladly arranged, and sometimes a portion of the cost was picked up by the center. The owner has dealt with the many issues that face any business in a concise, firm, fair manner. Running a child care center is no easy task as you are dealing with a parent's most loved possession, and emotions can run high. If you are thinking of Cranberry Christian Child Care as an option for your family, don't be swayed by the negativity seen here. Take a tour, meet the owner and staff, and make your own decision.

I have experience with three day cares, and Cranberry Christian Child Care provides excellent care. I never had to worry about my children. At Vincentian, my son was locked in a high chair in the mornings sometimes, forcing him to watch TV while eating his breakfast. This just doesn't happen at CCCC. They are also scrupulously clean, and I mean scrupulously… handles, toys, knobs, utensils, chairs, floors aren't just cleaned twice a day - they are also cleaned upon getting soiled. Go in to one of their bathrooms, and you'll see what I mean - no spots anywhere; even their faucets shine. One can literally lick anything in that place and not get sick. CCCC is FAR cleaner than Vincentian, and cleaner than even Kindercare. Unlike Vincentian, CCCC always followed my written instructions. Never any problems; if I made clear requests, the staff would always follow through. My kids were so happy there! I did not want to leave, but my kids will be going to Marshall kindergarten, so I had to pull them from CCCC and put them in to Kindercare so they could make friends with their future classmates. I am so much poorer now; Kindercare nickel and dimes you for every little thing, whereas at CCCC the prices weren't just lower, they also were absolute. If there was an extra charge, it was like $5 for admission to the pumpkin patch outing, for instance. My kids came home in clothes nearly as clean as when they arrived in the mornings. CCCC always told me ahead of time when to dress them in their crappy clothes, as fingerprinting was planned, etc. I'd always feel bad, because they'd come home, then soil their nice clothes at dinnertime at home - lol! Like me, both of my babies had thin, easily damaged and easily irritated skin. I dropped them off dry, and I picked them up dry, or very nearly so… their little bottoms were always slathered in the Original Desitin I brought in for them to use. I don't remember a single case of diaper rash that I could blame on CCCC. If anything, they helped me clear diaper rashes brought on by diarrhea, long trips, or too much orange juice on the weekends! My daughter is very yeasty; CCCC helped me clear at least two fungal skin infections, applying her Nystatin per directions. Unlike Vincentian, CCCC provides the food. It was such a pain to think up and pack healthy lunches, when I went to Vincentian. At CCCC, it's as simple as occasionally bringing in a box of cereal for their breakfasts. I dropped by to see a few of their lunches, as I worked basically across the street, at Cranberry Passavant. The lunches provided to your child at CCCC are healthy, balanced, and simple - the plain fruits, vegetables, and meats that most kids love. My kids never went home hungry because they didn't like their lunches. The owner is assertive and can even come off as gruff, but she is actually very kind and willing to work with you, within reason. Look - do you want a person who allows staff and other parents alike to run roughshod over her and your kids, or do you want an assertive and competent owner who thoroughly vets her staff, looks out for your and your children's rights, and runs a tight ship? You can't have both, and I'd much rather have a competent person who looks out for everyone's rights, not just the rights of the people who complain the most. I and my children were always treated fairly by her. The care at CCCC was stellar; I would recommend them to any parent without reservation!!

I highly recommend Cranberry Christian Day Care. My son attended for 6 years and was loved and well cared for the entire time. He was also well prepared for kindergarten due to the excellent curriculum provided. There were days he didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun. There were great activities indoors and outside as well as field trips. The owner would help me out when there were extenuating circumstances at my job. Cranberry Christian Day Care was like a home away from home for my son.

My son started to attend this daycare when he was a year old. He is now five and has learned a great deal from his teachers/caregivers. By age two he was already counting to 20. Also, he knew all of his colors, shapes, and he could count in Spanish which he did not learn from me or the TV. All of this was learned from his daycare. He knows to pray before he eats, which he still does!

While we were going there I was expecting my second child. Towards the end of my pregnancy I had some health issues and was unable to lift my son in and out of the car. The owner of the daycare would come out every morning and get my son and would bring him out just so that I didn’t have to do any lifting. He NEVER had a wet or dirty diaper when I picked him up (I would pick him up at different times). If he would get something on his clothes (because he is a child) they would change him.

The owner always worked with us if we ever had any questions. (As a first time mother, I always had a lot of questions.) The owner actually helped my family out when my Stepmother passed away and took care of the kids (during daycare hours) even though we had moved out of the area. I truly believe that your child will always get the care, love and education that they need here!

This is a wonderful childcare facility. I have been employed at this Center for 15 years. My son went through this Center for 6 years and was well prepared for kindergarten when the time came. The two poor reviews on this page are offensive to me personally because after 15 years in the infant room it was the parent or the child of these two reviews that caused me to ask the owner to transfer me into another class. Parents who claim that thier child does not do this or do that "at home' should keep in mind that it matters not as they are not "at home'. Parents who ask us to make sure their child is sick because they "don't want to pay a $10.00 co pay" are misguided. Parents who have 'mommy eyes' and see multiple scratches and a child that is filthy need to gain some sense of reality and perspective. These are the parents that contribute to the cause of over priced centers because they are problem parents. These are the parents that give 'daycare parents' a bad name.

I would highly recommend Cranberry Christian. We have been using this center since 2003 and have found it to be exceptional. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and treats the children as their own. The center is always clean and organized. My children all enjoyed attending the center and have made some lifelong friends while there. I was always impressed with the learning programs and special seasonal programs the children participated in. It is always hard to leave your child with someone, but from day one at this center I always felt like I was leaving them with family. My older children still ask to visit and every time we drive by, everyone always waves and yells to the building, "Hi school, we miss you!!" If you are looking for a secure and loving daycare/preschool environment for you children, this is the place to be!!

I LOVE it! As an educator, and very particular mother of 3, I am very selective about the caregivers I leave my children with. I have looked into numerous daycares, and enrolled my children in 2 prior to finding Cranberry Christian Child Care. I cannot say enough about how happy we are. The staff is loving, patient and kind. The facility is extremely clean! The educational component of the nursery and preschool programs is spectacular! I have seen remarkable growth in all of my children & they look forward to going every day. Enrolling my children at Cranberry Christian child care was a phenomenal choice for our family. I recommend it to everyone!
