Cox's Creek Elementary School is part of Nelson County School District and is located in Cox s Creek, Ky. It offers students a safe and engaging learning environment in preschool through grade five, and has an enrollment of more than 500 students. Its preschool offers half-day preschool classes to 3- and 4-year-old children. Students attend school Monday through Thursday and participate in developmentally appropriate activities to strengthen language, mathematics, and reading readiness. They participate in family-style lunches and center-based activities designed to use students' natural curiosity and interests to build knowledge and skill. The elementary school provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts social studies and science.
