To help make a difference in another persons life is to bring joy, love, hope and to contribute in some way to making things better for them” Donna says one of her greatest accomplishments in life is being a mother and a grandmother. Radiologist

• Ultrasound
  Sclerotherapy can be performed on most of the leg veins that are affected by vein disease. Sclerotherapy is often used to treat spider veins for cosmetic purposes, however it is also applicable for deeper veins in some cases. To help guide the application of sclerosing solution into veins that are not visible at the skin surface, Dr. Juleff utilizes ultrasound imaging to help guide the procedure by visualizing the vein and ensuring the correct vessels are targeted.

  After completing his undergraduate degree at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, Dr. Juleff attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. He did his residency in general surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he developed a keen interest in vascular surgery.

  Heather joined the LaBella Vita Laser and Vein Center team in 2021. She brings with her more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her background includes positions as biller, coder and medical office manager. She has worked in the specialties of family practice, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology and vascular. Her promise is to ensure claims are processed with accuracy and to exceed all patient expectations. She is proud to be a part of the LaBella Vita Laser and Vein Center family.

  Dr. Juleff continued his education with several research and clinical fellowships, including a vascular surgery research fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, a clinical fellowship in vascular surgery at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, and a cardiothoracic fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans.

• Ulcer
  Skin changes are another consequence of untreated vein disease. Leaky veins allow blood to pool near the skin’s surface. As this blood breaks down it can cause discoloration in the surrounding skin. The skin may also become taut and easily punctured. Should a wound occur it may become a poorly healing ulcer. Ulcers are unsightly, potentially painful, and if caused by venous insufficiency may not heal without treatment.

  Kayla attended the John Jay Beauty College, graduating from their esthetics program with her Esthetician and Microdermabrasion licenses. After gaining additional experience at a day spa, Kayla joined the La Bella Vita Laser and Vein Center team.
