Welcome House, founded in 1982, is an emergency assistance center. Its Gardens at Greenup program provides affordable housing with on-site support services, including intensive case management and licensed child care. The center s Day2Day program features financial management services to help at risk individuals. Its Emergency Assistance program offers food, baby and cleaning supplies and personal care items, as well as community referrals and assessment services to prevent hunger and homelessness. The center also provides temporary housing services for homeless women and children. It offers vocational rehabilitation services and trainings, as well as assistance with job placement and retention. The center provides more than 30,000 meals yearly. It accepts donations through groups, organizations, clubs, schools, businesses and churches. Welcome House is located in Covington, Ky.
