Our mission is to preserve the rich heritage of the Monastery of St. Gertrude, Camas Prairie, Snake River, Salmon River, and surrounding areas. View special exhibits, including the stories of the Benedictine sisters, the Nez Perce people, Polly Bemis, and Buckskin Bill. The Historical Museum at St. Gertrude is on the campus of the Monastery of St. Gertrude, an active Benedictine community of sisters. The Welcome Center and Gift Shop are also located at the Historical Museum.
