In 1962, Holiday Market established its first store on historic Front Street in Cottonwood, California. Today the company still has its headquarters on Front Street, taking pride in its small-town roots. There are now fourteen Holiday Market stores in Northern California and Southern Oregon, all of which are owned and operated by North State Grocery, Inc., an 100% Employee-Owned Company.

Even though we have alot of other food store outlets around town I am still loyal to my Holiday market shopping there from time to time. They provide fresh meat and fresh produce. Their prices are pretty comparable to most food stores so they are not high at all. I just wish we had never closed down the one we used to have in Anderson, Ca.
