This *would have been* my favorite coffee shop. HOWEVER, whenever I go to the 9th street location, the employees walk around spraying 409 cleaner on all the counters and tables while the guests are eating and drinking. they literally spray 2 inches from you while you are sitting there and all around the counter where the spoons and sugar are located. The fumes are so strong that it will literally make you want to vomit. I have actually had to step out the door while in the middle of my drink because my eyes were watering, and my nose was burning. I do not understand why they need to spray that stuff every hour. These aren't toilets we are talking about - they are just tables with a few drips of coffee on them. Wipe them with a bleach rag like everyone else, or dilute an organic cleanser that doesn't stink! That should be enough during the day while customers are there! Spraying these chemicals where people are trying to enjoy their coffee and breathe could actually be harmful to their health. I have even emailed a complaint about this to the owner, but I received no response. I would probably go to the 9th street location a few times a week because it's a comfortable place to work, but I cannot stand the fumes. They spray that stuff every single time I go in there. It's absurd.

Always friendly, always yummy and you can't beat the selection!
