- MRIMagnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a test that uses powerful magnets, radio waves, and a computer to make detailed pictures inside your body. Your doctor can use this test to diagnose you or to see how well you’ve responded to treatment. MRIs can be done on different parts of your body.
- RadiologyMany radiology tests can be given at the time of your appointment with your doctor. Others, such as MRI, CT, and Nuclear, usually can be scheduled within a week of seeing your doctor. Most test results are available within 24 hours. Because a radiologist and your doctor must interpret the x-ray and imaging results, we cannot give test results to you by telephone. Patients must see their doctor to receive this information.
