- Senior Pet CareWe know how much time you have spent enjoying your pet over the years and we want to help you keep him or her healthy into the golden years. Dogs that are over age 8 and cats over age 10 are considered seniors. Many conditions affecting senior dogs and cats come on silently and the pet shows no signs initially. Your senior pet should be examined at least annually and sometimes more frequently. We offer senior wellness exams and senior and geriatric blood and urine screens to detect, prevent and treat diseases early. We are fortunate to be offered screening bloodwork packages from our laboratory with excellent rates on diagnostic wellness testing. We want to help you keep your pet a comfortable, healthy family member, so be sure to ask us about senior care.
