Dr. Jones joins Southwest Health with a diverse range of experience and a special interest in orthopaedic surgery for a wide range of conditions. A native of Illinois, Dr. Jones played football at Southern Illinois University and professional football for the Minnesota Vikings, before moving on to a career in medicine and orthopedic surgery training at the University of Florida. He was in private practice in Evansville, Indiana, before deciding to relocate to Southwestern Colorado to take advantage of the amazing outdoor opportunities. He has an interest in partial and total knee replacement, minimally invasive hip replacement, total shoulder and reverse total shoulder replacement, adult and pediatric fracture care of the upper and lower extremities. He is also trained in the latest minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for shoulder and knee surgery.
