I've grown up in Corry and still live in the area today and find myself reminiscing about all of the establishments, features and identity markers that the Corry area has lost along the way. I am more than happy to find TJ's still open today as it was when I was a kid. One of the most unique places around the area, TJ's is one of the select few establishments that you can get good food and ice cream as well as meet friends or bring your family to play miniature golf, pool or billiards as well as many different arcade style games. Corry used to be home to a pool hall, though since its closing TJ's is one of, if not THE, only place around where you can play pool publicly without having to suffer the dislikable conditions of the local pubs and bars. One of the features that I think would be wonderful to bring back to TJ's is its former sand volleyball court behind the building, which was always very popular. If you're looking for a nice place for a family or friend night out, this is it.
