I was spent to Habor View by Del Mar College to complete a nursing class and when I walked in the lobby was nicely decorated and smelled nice, but when I was taken upstairs where the patients were it had the heavy smell of urine and the patients sat in wheelchairs in the hall begging for someone to change them or clean them as the staff just ignored them, it made me sick, I complained to Del Mar College, plus I saw it was rated the worst nursing home in south Texas by the state, someone needs to make some changes so these old people have a good place to live.

We are always complaing because they do not make her bed.I live in san antonio every time I go see my mother her hair is never combed she smells like they have not given her a bath.She had to go to the hospital on friday for some sort of test ,they sent her without shoes and socks and her hair was not combed.My mother fell down not to long ago they did not want to send her for x-rays the day it happened they wanted her to wait until the following Monday.I used to work at harborview and it used to be a pretty good nursing home but not any more.When my daughter goes to visit her grandmother sometimes she has to put sheets on the bed because there are not any sheets on the bed,feces will be on the floor.Like I said my mother is being neglected and I do not like it.There are a lot of things wrong with this facility and seems like they donot try to fix it, they tell us it is going to be taken care of but it never is.
