DM-Tech started with one person and have grown to a staff of 6 with the original creator now retired. Meet the Owner: Richard started DM-Tech in 1994. Previously, Richard owned "Dick's Auto" for 20 years in downtown Corning. He changed careers by taking computer courses from Microsoft and Intel. He built and sold computers like hot-cakes those first five years. Continually reinventing himself and his business, Richard expanded to include dial-up internet in the early 90's. In 1999, he built the first tower right behind DM-Tech and began to expand his business to include high-speed wireless broadband internet. DM-Tech was the first company to offer wireless broadband in Northern California. DM-Tech was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle that first year. Although, 5 additional employees have been added over the last 5 years, Richard continues to head-up and direct the technical expansion of DM-Tech Inc.
