Wind stream provides poor internet service. It is okay during off-peak hours but is very slow or nonexistent during the evening. When repair service is called they say it is normal to lose speed during this time and there is noting they can do about it. My research shows that there are many frustrated customers like me out there. The common phrase for Windstream is "oversell under preform". Yuk!

This company is overall terrible. I use multiple speed testers multiple times a day and the only time that the internet is working anywhere even relatively close to the speed im paying for is at 2 am when i occasionally wake up in the middle of the night. The customer service is downright horrid and when calling asking of why the speed is so horrendously slow, they reply asking if you want to purchase a plan with a higher promised speed yet i know from neighbors that the speed will not increase, only increase in monthly payments. When promised to have an associate come and inspect problems on the multiple times a month the internet completely goes out, they promise to have a worker there and almost always never show up on the first time, which then requires you to reschedule yet again to have someone come out to inspect the problem. VERY VERY VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. I will never contract with wind stream again the moment another option becomes available.
