Ive been bring my dogs to them for about 14 years and think Dr. Drummond is great. When one of my dogs was getting up there in age 2 years ago, I talked to him about it and he was willing to come to my house on a Saturday to euth her when the time came. Unfortunately, she had a tumor burst after hours on a Saturday so I had to bring her to the ER vet. But she had been in there 3 days before that for her yearly exam and it was a newer vet who checked her out and even palpated her belly. I don't know if that contributed to the tumor bursting or if she just missed the tumor, but Dr. Drummond was very open to me bringing him the X-rays and ultrasound for them to review and discuss. I do only see him now with my other dog and my pup, but I still love going there. I actually brought a stray cat in once that was very ill and had them euth her and they only charged me a nominal amount since it wasn't my cat (and I honestly don't like cats, but she was so sick, I couldn't just leave her outside to die.)
I have finally made it into the Corcoran Pet Care hands! They are wonderful, compassionate, kind, have patience, and most of all they love animals! I waited a long time to get in. I am glad they only take so many clients, then they can dedicate their time and knowledge to those. If they have a list, make sure you get on it!
I just made an appointment. I have two dogs and they let you bring them in for their yearly exams at the same time and they don't charge you for two apointments, which is a savings of $20. Also, you can bring in stool samples for each dog and they'll test them at the same time and only charge you for one test. When I told her what a great deal that is, the receptionist told me, "we don't like to charge you for all sorts of things."
I've been going to this facility for years, since i was a kid... I've researched other facilities for prices, ones closer to where i live now, and they still have beat others in prices. It's worth the drive in with my cats for their service. Friendly, clean, quick, very knowledgeable, and they aren't the type of vets that find reasons to charge you extra services you don't need.
Just got an 8 month old puppy. Called for an appointment and was told they only took clients from surrounding area. I live two cities away. I have been to church in Corcoran so I do not consider it to far. In todays economy I was surprised they turned down business.
