The Copperas Cove Fire Department offers a range of emergency assistance services. Located in Copperas Cove, Texas, the department serves more than 50,000 residents of Copperas Cove, Coryell, Bell and Lampasas counties in Texas. Founded in 1947, it offers emergency medical care and management services. The department operates through administration, operations, fire prevention and support services divisions. The Copperas Cove Fire Department conducts rescue operations and fire investigations. It also operates a smoke alarm installation program, as well as a fire academy. In addition, the department employs a staff of over 40 firefighters and support personnel.
