Shannon and Margaret Schmittou acquired Coppell Tire & Auto, a small reputable auto repair shop, in May 2002. Why? After a career working as an ASE certified mechanic for several brand name shops, Shannon was tired of the industry's often deserved negative reputation and felt there was a better way of doing business. People simply want a shop they can trust! Customers are immediately struck by Shannon's low-pressure, down-home style. And, the first time he tells you that you don't need, or can put off, work someone else pressured you to buy, you know it's the real thing. Shannon believes in the importance of repeat business and depends on word of mouth. So his strategy is simple: provide quality service at a reasonable price, deliver what you promise, and take pride in what you do.

I highly recommended because they were reasonable with price and didn't try and say that the car needed this, that and the other thing. I will be bringing my car and my truck back when I need repairs.

I tried out this shop since it was so convenient to my work and boy was I lucky. I have been using them probably 3-4 years now or longer. I have used them for maintenance and also for tires. Now several people from my work use them. They are honest and now days that is hard to find!!!
I own five vehicles and take them all to Shannon and his excellent crew at Coppell Tire and Auto. He also sells all makes of tires at excellent prices.In addition, when you take a problem to Shannon he works to fix that problem and doesn't try to find two or three more so that he can run up the charges. His prices are fair and very reasonalble. Especially when compared to the prices of a dealer! Check him out and I think you will be more than pleased.

Was referred to this shop by a friend who knows cars well. Wow. What a find. I've used them three times and will continue to do so. They explain everything very well, complete the work without problem, and have always delivered at the price they quoted. I'm thrilled to have a local auto shop that I can trust and rely on.
