Dr. Hurbis trained at the University of Illinois with some of the countryâ??s leading facial plastic surgeons. He completed 4 years of training with Eugene Tardy, M.D., Dean Toriumi, M.D., and Regan Thomas, M.D. These doctors (known in Chicago as the â??Fab 3â??) are internationally known as 3 of the leading facial cosmetic and rhinoplastic surgeons in the country. Between them they have authored over 6 of the leading textbooks on Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hurbis has chosen the nasal airway reconstruction as a primary area of interest.
